Just a quick question...I want to remove my alternator bracket and one of the bolts goes into the thermostat housing.Does the right hand bolt go into the water jacket?Just asking before I touch it so I don't end up with coolant everywhere.
Its an edelbrock performer intake.

No, the water neck holes don't go into a jacket, they're blind holes.
It might leak a little between the neck and manifold when you remove the one bolt though.

Just pull the bolt out last and then put it back in once you pull off the bracket.
