Default Difficulty drum to disc conversion?

Hi there-new to the website...I just got my dream car for my bday!!! It's a 67 and it's in need of a little TLC. It started right up after gas was added and it runs pretty darn well. I want to convert the drum brakes to disc brakes on at least the 2 front tires-the back brake was completely ceased up...the brakes had pressure until the last time I took it out and now the brake gets about 3in from the floor and doesn't pop back up! The nipples are rusted over as well so they are unable to be bled...the car had been sitting for 7yrs anyways so I want new brakes anyways. SO-my question is; how hard is it to replace a drum brake...as well as how hard is it to convert the drum to a disc? Is this a job that might be better left to the professionals? I would be happy to let them do it rather then do damage to myself (or the car!!!) Any idea how much it would cost to have the conversion done/where a good place to get it done at??? Anything helps! Thanks ahead of time to anyone who replies!

It would also be a great time to replace all of the worn suspension components while you have everything apart such as ball joints and control arm bushings...

It is not hard to do if you have done any kind of suspension work before, and some things such asremoving and installing coil springs can be downright dangerous.. if you don't feel comfortable doing it have afreind help you or take it to a pro...
