350 Operating Temp?

Depends on which "he" you're referring to. The OP (Scooch) was running way hot on the road, and 4 degrees hotter at idle. Both guys are running way hotter than mine does, and I don't have a shroud that goes beyond my electric fan. No hood definitely helps mine though, however I had a stock 69 way back when, and it rarely went past 180.

Update:
I'd like to thank everyone for your guidance and suggestions. Ok, here's what I did. I upgraded my electric fan to a 2500 cfm and a temperature control module. I also replaced the thermostat from a 195 to 180 degree model. Got it out this weekend and got stuck in traffic (the best test there is), and operating temp never got over 195. Granted, it wasn't the hottest of days, but it never would have survived under the old configuration. I think that got it.
