my 68 camaro i restored reads 10-15mph slower than actual mph. put turbo 400 have 2:73 rear with 15" wheels. the driven gear is 40 tooth and need get less teeth.bought new gear housing was wondering if i can use a 38 tooth without changing the drive gear inside. is it compatible?
