Default I need help fellas

I recently bought a 4 speed manual 69 Camaro and the car is great, but this morning when I drove it to work I shift it to second gear and it got stuck. Now its not shifting and it's stuck in 2nd gear.

I was lucky that I was still close to my house and I was able to make it back home. Any idea what I can do or will I have to take take it to a transmission shop? I'm not familiar with manual transmissions.

Start looking at the shift linkage.

Its more than likely the linkage, put the car up on jackstands, have some try shifting it while you observe the linkage from below. Sometimes they get out of adjustment and stick. Try pulling or pushing on the linkage when the person up top is trying to move it. Should pop out of gear, then you need to adjust it.. Google adjusting the linkage. Hope it helps..
