1967 Transmission Issues
Folks, I appreciate all the assistance I received related my backup lights and oil pressure issues. All is working well in those areas. Now I have a different issue. Lately my transmission appears to be slipping or slagging as I accelerate. I googled the symptom and everything I found states that the TH 350 doesn't have belts, what can be the issue?

Yes, they do, one set for each gear.
As an auto trans upshifts, forced oil is channeled into the planetary gear hub pressing on a piston to 'clamp' clutches together making the unit turn as one.
When clutches disengaged, planetary gear turns as this gives a gear ratio, 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear.
Clamp via pressurized oil, a gearset becomes one, upshift to next gear has happened.
I had a friend's THM350 due for overhaul. The clutches were burnt so bad, they became one unit, so when trans upshifted to second gear, the vehicle came to a skidding stop.
