Poly bushings has been around for quite a while now and the fact that they squeak (probably when not well enough greased) and that they give a harder ride are well known.
Now that some break "might" be because they are not greased correctly or mounted on a torsion bar that put stress on a direction that they were not designed for.
Just a guess and don't want to say what others says is not true and I have zero experience with them. Hopefully it'll work for my car.
Regarding greasing, kit came with a small jar. What grease can I use should I use more than what is needed ?

I just installed a set of Delrin Upper/lower control arm bushings from Ridetech. I did so because , according to Ridetech, they don't require grease due to them having teflon particles. Time will tell, but they do have a much solid feel compared to polys and I didn't want to take the chance of having to remove the A-arms again to redo them. Haven't drove the car yet until my brake changeover is finished.

They seem to be made of Delrin which is quite a hard material. I would be curious to learn of the ride is with them.

My next decision will be the body mounts. The ones presently are in dire need of replacing. I managed to get a hold of some solid Moroso ones but they seem a bit thinner than OEM. If I try
to install the solids with the front sheet metal intact is it going to throw off the body alignment? I had used the same mounts on a 69 Camaro but with entire front end off.

Has anyone here tried to install solid mounts with entire front intact and not deal with realigning the fenders, etc??

I would like to learn too if just replacing all body mounts can affect alignment.
As I see it, the subframe is bolted in 6 places. Is there any adjustment? Or if I remove the subframe and bolt it back where it was, is that going to work?

technically, the subframe is bolted in 4 places to the body. The other 2 mounting points are used to mount the radiator support/ inner fenders, etc. the 2nd mounting point,
(see diagram) has a hole next to the body mount hole that is used to insert an alignment rod that goes into the body. You can use a thick bolt also.
