best suspension upgrades after shocks and springs
Hey everyone!
So I've had my 67 Camaro for about a week now. When I got it, it was lowered and had performance shocks in the front, with stock springs and air shocks in the back.
I've now added a Hotchkis leaf spring lowering kit with poly bushings in the back.
The front end suspension still has stock control arms, original bushings, original front sway bar.
My car also has upgraded power steering ratio.
It drives better now that I added the rear Hotchkis springs, but it's still a bit "boaty" in the tight turns.
What would you all recommend to do next in terms of handling performance?
I've ben considering:
-tubular A arms
-full bushing upgrades
-sway bars
What would you recommend and which brands? Is there anything I'm overlooking?
Thanks again in advance for your help.

Dump the 'air shocks'... (Bilstein's on all 4 corners)
Upgrade the front coil springs to a higher rate- (Hotchkis 2" Lowering Coils)
Upgrade the bushings in the front suspension- (Delrin = best, P-S-T polygraphite = very good)
Upgrade swaybar(s)- (Hotchkis)
Upgrade to solid body mount bushings- (Global West IntraLok)
Add subframe connectors- (Hotchkis)

I live in a big city with a lot of pot holes and crappy roads so I'd prefer to try and keep as comfortable of a ride as possible while still handling decent. Do you still suggest Bilstein's or is there a better option for what I'm looking for?

Yeah, Bilstein's may NOT be right for you... but I have no suggestions.
Also, you're going to be better off with 15" wheels for crappy roads, as lower profile tire/wheel packages don't like pot holes.

Ok thanks I'll look for something other than bilstein's. I current have 15" rally wheels. I was going to go 17" but I may hold off for awhile and do the shocks and other suspension first.

has anyone tried these Hotchkis shocks?
1967 - 1969 Front & Rear Hotchkis Aluminum Tuned Shock Set
They seem to emphasize smooth ride with improved handling.
