Default 69 Shock Relocate

Im restoring my 69 and am looking at putting as much meat in the rear as possible without mini tubbing, and I know they make shock relocation brackets so the shocks go to the inside instead of to the outside, My question is does this benefit any if you do not tub the rear, imonly looking for a couple inchs, and if it does help will it's change in angles hurt the effectiveness of the shocks for launching? Im going to be running over 450hp and need to plant as much to the ground. thanks in advance.

What size tires are you hoping to run?
