New toy for my new toy (1st gen)
Very nice! Love the paint. I think this is an extreme example of what we've all been through where you you replace 1 thing and the next looks out of place so you keep going until your out of money. I give you tons of credit on your resolve to see your vision come to life.
Well, due to growing bills (a lot due to the car), I have to put the car on the market... I really don't want to, but this is the best way with the upcoming career change (retiring from the Navy after 23 years). So I just posted the car on e-bay and we'll see how she does. I'm not retiring until next summer, so if it doesn't sell, I still have time to do something before then. Especially since the body shop just sent me a bill for $5K out of the blue for work completed 6 months ago.

Well, the car has sold... I think it went to a good new home. Almost out of the debt the car put me into. So now it will be a couple years before I start a new project... Now to sell some of the left over parts. Parts will include seats (front/rear), some body panels, heat controls/box, a bunch of RS headlight parts, among other things. I'll post them up inn the classifieds inn the next few days.

I just read this whole thread from start to finish and I cried when I got to the last page. I don't know if I could have sold that car after all that work. I've had my 68 for 27 years and could never part with it.
