Default New toy for my new toy (1st gen)

My new LS3/4L65E arrived!! The wife though I'ld sleep with it vice her (which I probably should have). It's a new LS3 with GM hot cam, 92mm cable op throttle body, 42# injectors, ECM and wiring harness, all sensors, etc. The 4L65E came out of a GTO that was wrecked coming off the car transporter at a dealership (1 mile). I got everything for only $10K which I think was a steal. All I'm waiting on to do the swap now is the LH8 oil pan that I bought from BRP Muscle Rods a month ago on e-bay and STILL have not gotten, and now he won't return my e-mails. Gonna call him tomorrow and see WTF.

Nice, keep the pics coming of your progress.
Your garage looks like mine, nothing like a shop.

Here are a few more pics of where I am now. Basically, I'm waiting on the correct oil pan (from an H2 Hummer) to allow installing the motor. Friggin BRP sent it the EXTREMELY slow USPS way. I'll NEVER deal with BRP again. But the engine bay is all prepped, the PCM wiring harness is run, and the dash is disassembled waiting for the new sheetmetal (DSE) dash which arrives tomorrow. Hopefully the pics work. This isn't all the pics. All the pics can still be viewed at :

Well, It's been 62 days since I ordered my LH8 Oil Pan from BRP and still no pan... At least I have a tracking number now though (but via parcel post so 30-90 day delivery time)[:@]. But I did get my carbon fiber sheets today and got to a little modifying the interior. Here are a couple pics. They are dark (lousy camera), but it look GREAT! Also putting carbon fiber panels over the "CORVETTE" lettering on the LS3 beauty covers.

So, the LS3/Tranny are installed. I even got it started today. But can someone using the BRP motor mounts chime in. How do you orientate the passenger side motor mount (the block side)? The problem I have is the passenger side header needs about 1/2" clearance to allow the exhaust to clear the tranny x-member and the tranny mount center hole doesn't line up with the tranny cross member. I'm thinking I might have the passenger side motor mount (block side) installed upside down and the instructions only show a picture of the drivers side mount. Does someone have pictures or can explain the orientation of the passenger side mount (ears offest toward front of back of the block). Here are some pics of the progress right now and you can kind of see the mount in question.

New update. Install would be officially complete now had BRP sent me both a drivers and PASSENGER side motor mount vice two drivers side mounts... But it's all installed except the passenger side mount (motor is just sitting on the mount thats installed which is a drivers side mount). BRP is sending the right one (at my expense I might add  ) Oh, and I screwed up the measurement on my driveshaft, so now I have to take it and get it lengthened one of the 2 inches I had them previously shorten in. The car starts/idles/runs perfectly though. Although i do have to replace the power steering pulley I screwed up earlier... But that's ordered and only a $13 screw up. Here are a few more pics. Videos of it starting and running are l0cated here along with a bunch of other pics that I haven't posted over the build :
