My progress on my 69 street machine...to date
Next, we focused on repairing the rear window section. These pieces were not available, so we fabbed them from sheetmetal ourselves. After the rear channel repairs were made, we were ready to install the rear panel again....this time for good.

Just a few more........
You can see the quarterpanel replacement this car received back in 1987. Just think, that was a GM NOS quarterpanel cut and added on then.
This is how the car looks to date. While we are replacing the outer wheel housings and trunk floor, I am cleaning the subframe for paint, and all the "Bagged" removed parts.

Here are some of the items I have cleaned, blasted, cleaned again, and plated. They are lightly polished, bagged, labeled, and set aside for reinstallation at a later date.

A couple more items....... Each piece I have removed from this car will be carefully cleaned, inspected, refinished, bagged, tagged, and set aside for future installation.

The subframe is clean (blasted) and ready for final prep, prior to priming, sealing, and painting.
Now, we are on to fiishing the rear outer wheel housings, the trunk floor, and the small patch that will go on the right rear quarterpanel.

Wow awesome pics!!! You are moving right along. In about 2 weeks it will be time to bring home the sub frame to clean it up and build the motor on.
Orocker, Your car is moving along nicely as well. I check every day for updates to see how your project is going. I may have a slightly nicer dash bezel you could use. I need to dig it out and look at it.
Concentrated on cleaning/priming/and painting the wheels and mounting the tires for my Camaro during the long weekend.
