You're welcome. So back outside today to do more work to the AC. Got the 3 relays connected to the right wires for the heat, ac, and defrost.

Next we started working with the remaining original duct work to seen how its all going to fit inside the dash with the new system and hoses. Its a really tight fit with the center piece and ashtray. And because its one system working with old duct we decided to modify things a bit so the hose will sit better under everything.

We had to adjust the opening just slightly so it will slide out.

Picked up this band saw at a yard sale down the street for $20 and used it to cut off the bottom and side of the center and left side duct.

Now the hose will go directly to the left side duct

And lastly since this duct won't connect on the bottom or to the left side duct, we just taped it off

Its been tough trying to build a car and go through life. If I had it to do all over again I would have paid less for the car in the beginning. I didnt know how to look at it very well and assess what I should have paid for it. I was just so thrilled that it fell into my lap the day after we decided to do this.

Ive put probly $31 to $32k into it. Spent $8 on the car and $9500 on restoration and paint I think. The rest has been in parts. It had no interior accept the seats I recovered myself. I am all done buying parts except for probly misc interior connecting parts, shocks, some kind of shifter linkage, an air filter.....and I really dont know what else. I doubt much more.
A very important thing my Dad taught me; never keep track of how much you spend on your car. It does nothing make you depressed lol He could probably be retired by now if it wasn't for his Nova... ;-)

So here's me and my baby. I like the CF decal. Shifter linkage has been ordered and should be here by the weekend.

Wow' you've made quite a bit of progress since last time I looked at it. My 93 is out of commission until January at the earliest. Trans went out so I am going to wait and build it right when I have the money so that the engine mods I plan later won't cause me to have to do it again. Oh the joys of a muscle car right?

Well Merry Christmas Eve I'm working on my camaro......

Got the shifter linkage connected but its resting on the header. The plan is to bend it a bit so it all functions. Very happy with the shifter and so thankful to have it. If we get this to work, then it will definitely help us to advance towards starting the motor. Dug out a bunch of stuff to connect. Steering column parts, horn, E brake connectors. Can't wait to see it all together with my custom lever *****.

Got a couple more hours to work on it......pics to come.
