Went to see the car monday and wow it really looks like a finished product. Well the outside atleast. Bob (car guy) got the roof joints all smoothed out. The trunk lid is on and so is the spoiler. It looks awesome.

Here's a pic of the roof inside the car. And to answer your question about how he sealed to roof above the doorway he said it only gets spot welded in like 2 spots. He then uses something called PRC which is a sealant he gets from Seamis....I think that's where he said. Its an airplane sealer and will stay plyable so that when the car is be-boppin down the road that is will move with the car and not crack.

And last but not least, it's on to the dash.

WOW. Your Car looks great! Just think about what it will look like when you get some primer on it and it all gets to be one color... Then it will really look like a whole car.... Man I an't wait until I get to this part. I really appreciate you asking Bob the Body guy about the roof. It is really going to help me out!!!!

It really looks good orocker!

Thanks everyone. Things are really moving along now. I had a long sit down conversation with my guy about the next few weeks and the motor build. Another week and the sub frame will be getting shipped to my house for clean up so he can work on the firewall and underneath. So the only body work that was done last week was the repair of the right front cowel. Oh yea and my new gas tank is here.

Well I have no pics for now. Not much has gotten done this past week. Bob has started the dash repair but hasnt gotten very far. Plus when we got there today we realized that there was no image card in the camera so we couldnt take any pics. But he did show us how he is gonna cut the ne repair piece for the dash out of the new sheet metal. So this week he says he will get the dash done.

We did however find a new parts connection from a co based in Sarasota called Southern Performance Warehouse. They only deal with racing and body shops or I would say where to contact them. Might be something you would want to check into with your local body shop. But this is a co. that deals with parts from over 100 dif co. So we have made our list and checked our prices and are going to order the rest of the motorin the next 2 weeks. Gonna save me a ton of $ and will get the Patriot Alluminum heads that we want. Also getting forged pistons.

And lastly I have been buying all of my new emblems from ebay that will decorate this beauty. When I get them all I will take a pic. I have also decided to paint the louvers and the lower side bar black. I am not going to put on the hockey stick stripe because itis just not me. Also the only chrome trim I am putting on her is gonna be the trim above the doors.

So, when you say the "lower side bar", do you mean the Rocker panel?
