Default My 69 camaro major project

Just bought it monday, had it sitting at a buddies farm while i made room for it in my garage. I know that this will need a lot of work, time, money, blood, tears.. but in the end i will have my dream car, built the way i want it! Before anyone asks if i know what i am getting myself into, i've worked on cars before, never to this extent, but after reading the restoration guide for the 1969 it is defiantly something i think i can handle with as much information there is out there about this car.

This is not a project i think can be done within months, or even 1 year, i think to get the car running and on the road it will take about 2 years. I am not going to kid myself into thinking i can get it done in a few months, running, and safe for the road.

I know many of you have done these types of rebuilds so i will be looking for your help and input as well!

Here is the "car" i guess if you could call it that

Good luck to you!

That car looks a lot like mine did... I too gave myself the 2-3 year timeframe

Wow! that is a rough one. Take you time and don't scrimp on the quality and you will have a great car. Plan things to a great degree and it will save you taking parts on and off over and over again. Plan the options you want and make sure that the holes are drilled/punched before you paint... You know the drill.

Good luch to you, it is a big job that you can be proud of for a long time.

Wow! Good for you. That's a huge job. My project is small compared to yours. Can't wait to see the updates.

Good luck

Power to you for taking on an ambitious task. Powertrain wise what are you thinking? Modern or classic? just curious?

You are a brave soul.
You must have a lot more skills than I do.

Good luck.
