THE LIGHTS! That is all you notice? I look at all of the emblems and just wonder if there was ever an emblem he didn't like. It would have killed me to drill all of those holes in my car. I have the bare minimum on my car, and they were already drilled before it was painted.

 

The last of the pictures for now, Money being more of a factor than time, I am out for now. I will be bringing the car home for the winter. As money permits I will start working on the interior, the wiring, and in the spring, I am going to install the engine and transmission. This has been a real progress year. I just hope to keep it going.

Yes to both. It is a factory 4P car and it does still have the factory Radius Rod. I do not plan to race it again, so the single leaf springs are fine. I may use Vett Brakes fiberglass single leafs in the future, but for now, the single steel springs are good.

 

They floor was finished today. They sprayed it with Raptor to protect it from the elements. The car is going to be a driver. A Real Nice Driver.

 

Very nice. I finally got my car to the point where I can drive it around. At first, I was thinking that I wanted the car to be a driver. I'm having second thoughts now considering how much time, effort, and money I've put into "resurrecting" it. I'm just too paranoid right now. Maybe that will diminish once I've owned the car for awhile.

 

I understand, but I do not want a $40,000 three thousand pound paper weight. If I can't drive it, I will sell it and not have it. I saw a 1960 Corvette at the Mecam Auction this weekend with no miles on it sell for nothing. That is sad, the driving enjoyment the first owner missed was worth more than what he was able to get at the Auction. I am building it and can not wait to get it on the road. I built it once, I can always build it again.
