I am interested in buying a 1969 camaro project. He is firm on $14,000. Here is the description: Equipped with the following---- 454 crate motor,New edlebrock intake,New holley 600 carb. M-21 4 speed,New heavy duty clutch assembly,10 bolt rear.New 4 core radiator and water pump. All new exhaust system,All new fuel system,All new brake system and suspension. Complete new wiring harness.New body panels---quaters-fenders-doors-floor-trunk-hood. Have front buckets and rear seat, needs rest of interior. All you need is paint and misc. interior parts and good to go.
How does this sound for a deal? It just needs interior and paint. Let me know what you all think. Its a ss/rs clone. I am buying it and going to make it a twin to my 2010 camaro. Let me know thanks

If it is straight, the panels all have good lines and no obvious rot, the engine has decent performance then it would easily cost you that much. I'm about 80% done with a 67 RS. I put less than $500 into the engine and I'm easily at $15K. I'll be close to $17K when done.
But!!! Paint can easily run you anywhere between $4 and $6K for a quality job, Interior would be another $1K for a full up redo.

I think that sounds real good if the body is all done. I went crazy on mine and I'm over $20k. I still need a motor, interior and all the small stuff. I'm thinking 40k when I'm done.
