Default 98 Camaro Price

Its a 1998 camaro with a 99 engine in it. Previous engine threw a rod and some other internal damage so it couldnt be saved. So we put a new engine in it with around 68,000 miles on it. sadly i have no papers to verify it. While the engine is 68k miles, the body is sitting around 136k. This Car does have some problems but fixable. There is a vacuum leak somewhere, but i haven't really put time into looking. Cause of the vacuum leak the engine light comes on. On the cosmetic part of it, the car looks great. new top no dents as to what i can see. Interior is in pretty good shape. Ok the front tires are pretty much almost bald while the rear are maybe at 50%, and there is a coolant leak somewhere but i havent looked into that as well. needs struts. so if someone can give me a estimate on how much i could actually sell this for. I'll be leaving for basic soon and if the price is reasonable i may sell it.

My guess is that the price will be based more on your location. Personally, I believe you will get a better price for it if you solve the vac leak and coolant leak before advertising it. I would let the new owner replace the tires and struts unless you think you can recover the money in the sale price of the car.

Good luck in basic!!! Where you going? I did basic back in 86 at Fort Knox, KY. Never did see all that gold! LOL
