Like what? You mean should you have done it? What should you do with it? What?
$10K doesn't get you much these days in a 1st gen car so if it's a straight solid body it might be a good deal.
What more can you tell us, does it run? Is the interior there and good? Is it a straight 6 or V-8 car,Z28? RS? SS? Clone? Plain Jane?
Auto or stick (3 or 4 speed?) 10 or 12 bolt rear end?
Pictures?

What state did it come from? A 307 p/glide is a DC engine code. What are the colors? Disc brakes?

Well what would I do, that's tough to say.
Sounds like a nice cruiser so maybe just leave it stock and enjoy it as is would be a good idea.
Myself I don't think I'd be happy with a 307/powerglide for long and would probably want to do a big block/turbo-400 and 12 bolt posi rear.lol
That said I probably wouldn't have bought it in the first place just for that reason, kind of a shame to do that to an all original car although finding a straight '69 for $10K isn't easy so maybe I would . lol
Bottom line is it's your car so do what you want with it, sounds like you got a great deal.
