Default 10 Years in the making!

I’ve had this car since graduation when pops handed it down to me. At 18 I did a little work to it so it was street worthy and drove it around for a couple years. Then I decided it was time to really dig into and upgrade her. Early twenties got in the way and she sat in the garage/storage unit for about 6 years. I’ve finally pulled her out and started tearing it apart so I figured I would start a project page.

So far I have most of the front end apart. Working on pulling the upper and lower control arms off and then I’ll pull the sub frame out to sandblast and paint. I’ve bought a full QA1 from suspension to replace the old stuff with. Thinking of going towards the resto-mod side of things since I really want to just daily the car during the warm months.

Speaking on that, since I’m currently pulling everything, including fuel lines and the tank and it’s not going to be a track car or anything. I plan on purchasing a blueprint 383, should I just spring for the EFI version and replace the tank with one compatible with the EFI.

hey thanks, she’s a work in progress. Definitely looks better in the picture than it actually looked.

Got the sub frame off the car. Couple spots in going to have to have a metal shop fix up. Rear driver side hole is looking pretty toast and then the small spot on the frame infront of where the control arms are not quite as bad.

Making some progress on cleaning up all the grease and grime. Along with as much of the surface rust I can get off.
