Does anyone have lower kick panel vent ***** (drivers side) for 1969 Z28. The only thing I can find is the whole assembly that includes the *****. I was hoping that someone has an old assembly with ***** or just the *****.

 

I think that they were glued on... I've only seen them off when they were in pieces.

The metal rod has what looks like 4 threads but more like serrations. I think the **** is just pressed on. My guess is the female hole in the **** is a little under sized and is a press fit. May have to buy the whole unit to just get the *****. Also, I am new to the Camaro forum and was wondering why they removed the word "****" on my post?

I'm also seeing numerous ***** all throughout the thread. Which one is missing on your end?

 

I don't know if 68 and 69 are different. Mine had small screws in the end and was able to order them from Classic industries but I bought every thing new, rods, new flap, new handle.
