Default Convert 67 interior to 69

I would like to convert the interior in 67 convertible to 69. Reason is we want a white panels and houndstooth seat covers. The areas affected are:

Front seats need new seats?
Rear seats look the same?
Door panels
Dash
Carpet

Appreciate the help

Since no one else has posted a response for you I'll give it a shot.

First, you can get seat covers for your car that should work as far as I know. The front seats are basically the same on all first gen. except if they are head rest equipped or not. The covers won't be cut for head rests when you get them so it shouldn't be an issue (check with whoever you get them from just to be sure). So you won't need new seats unless you want head rest seats. The rear are the same.

As for door panels, you should be able to order them in white for your car. You didn't state if you have standard, custom or deluxe interior now and what you are wanting to do to them other than change color.

Dash? what are you wanting to do? make it a '69 dash? I don't think that is feasable but may be someone else can tell you if it can be done or not. I've never heard of someone doing it but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

Carpet, they are all black if you have white interior.

Good Luck!

On the door panels, '69's have the lock **** toward the middle of the door rather than '67 & '68 being at the end of the door.
You would have to make the '67 door inside skin simular to the '69 and get the '69 door **** linkage, or go without the door ****.
OR, use '68 Deluxe panels as they are the same pattern as '69 except for the door lock ****.

I know that the white interiors had black carpet, but what about the dash were they black also? and how about the seat belts were they white to match the seats or black to match the dash and rug ????

Thanks
Ted

For '69 the white interiors have black carpet, black dash pad and black seat belts. I have an original '69 with a white interior, so I know it to be correct.
