Default 1967 Convert

Hey, I'm new here. Just had a quick question about my Dad's camaro. He's got a project that he's lost interest in and now wants to get rid of. However, us kids are trying to talk him out of it. So, the best motivation seems to be the big ole $$$$'s, so how much is it worth? The details are:

1967 Camaro Convertible
Base 327
RS option
Deluxe Interior
Power Glide
Console
Rear Speaker
Rear Defog

That's all I can get from his cowl tag. The original drivetrain is gone, so he's wanting to put in a new E.F.I. motor with the 700R4. Anyways, in the condition it is in right now, I'm thinking he can get from 6-10K for it. But, if he was able to get it completed, what would this car be worth. The NADA guides has a ridiculous price of $70,000. Is that feasible? I mean for that price, I'd really look into finding the original drivetrain. Thanks...

its worth much more than you think, the VERT's are pretty rare, especially in good condition.
