1968 Camaro SS Seats- What are they worth?
Hey everyone. Im new to this forum and may have a line on a 1968 Camaro SS. The car would have to be completely rebodied, but it is complete. It was a 350 4 speed car. In terms of interior, it has both the front seats, an extra front seat, and the rear seat as well.
I know that it can be very hard to determine the value of something without seeing them and without all the info, but I will give what I have (I went to look at the car in June but walked away from it as I was not ready for that kind of project at the time). Like I said there are 3 front seats and the rear seat as well. The seats were dirty and I didnt get the best look at them but they were rough im sure.
Im just looking for a rough idea of what they could be worth.
Final question. To anyone who has rode in the back of one of these cars, how is leg room and head room. Most of my family is 5'10'' plus and in my third gen camaro, leg and head room is a problem, hence the consideration of parting with the rear seat for some sort of tubbing and bracing.
Any information and input is appreciated
Cheers
Ben

Kind of hard to say without pictures. A lot depends on the condition of the body. I've seen some real junkers that I wouldn't pay more than a few thousand for.
At 5'10 you would have plenty of room in the front. The back you could fit someone that size but it's not like there is a lot of leg room in the back seat. I'm 6' tall and my head lightly touches the inside roof of the car. I have shorter legs and a longer torso which makes it a problem fitting well in cars.
