Zinc Phosphate
Guys that have painted Zinc Phosphate from the 12oz cans from Eastwood. How far does 1 can go??? I'm interested in doing my hood hinges and springs. The hood latches and maybe my master cylinder cover and wires.
As always thanks for your input and help.

I never got any feed back from this Forum on the Eastwood Phosphate paint for my hood hinges and latches. But I did on a couple other forums, some of the guys there struggle with the color of Eastwood Zinc Phosphate being to dark. Some of the guys offer up they went with the "detail gray" and some went with the "spray gray" from Eastwood.
Anyone here that has detailed their hood hinges and latches. I'd love to hear your thought on the matter because I'm getting ready to paint mine and curious to which color is the closest to factory and or looks the best.

Imo detail gray is the closest to color and texture. The other two start off really dark but lightens up after the chemical wears of. I sprayed a couple of pulleys and hinges. After a couple of days of curing I used a. Grayscotch bright pad on it and it lighten it up a lot giving it a more flat finish. Oem paint makes phos but it about $90 a can.

Slick did you use the bright pad on the "detail gray" or did you use the bright pad on the "spray gray" and "zinc" ??? LoL it doesn't take much to confuse me
