I have a '67 Camaro convt, and plan on putting in an LS3 engine with Tremec T56 6spd. What is the largest / widest wheel I can put in the back without having to tub it out? also, any recomendations for the front? thanks

67 rag to is not a real "strong" car. even compaired to the 67 hard top it is very loose. If your planning on building a pro touring type car out of one I would think about one of those complete add-in frame assemblies.I have about325 hpin mine and I have thought about suspension upgrade but I told the body is the biggest limiting factor not the 40 year old designsuspension. There is a reason they never offered the Z28 convertible.

I agree if you do get it to hook it's gonna twist like a pretzel. It sucks to cause roll cages in a cruiser convertable kind of looks dumb. But if it were hard top i would say cage it that would strengthen alot. If you wouldn't mind the conv with a roll cage id say do that beleive me it stiffens them alot

this subject has been covered extensively. I say do a search and you will find plenty of great info (and lots of bad advice too)
