Whats it worth?
1969 BASE CAMARO ORIGINAL YELLOW FACTORY COLOR,MOTOR IS A V-8 307 MATCHING NUMBERS-FACTORY 4 SPEED-CAR
Needs complete restoration, Floor pans, quarters, Roof, Hood, rust in usual spots, Engine runs, car is driveable,
What would be a fair price for this car?
The guy is asking 6,000.00 and will flat bed it to my house free of charge.

I would jump on it for 6k! I looked a long time before gettingluckywith I found and 6k is a very fair price for a 69 Camaro with matching numbers and running engine. Is the body straight?

The problem I'am having now is trying to justify sinking in 6,000 right now and taking 2-3 years for restro. I would'nt put it on a budget but I can imagine the cost for begining the project.
This car is still up in the Air at the moment.
I would do all the work myself, I've never done a restro But I'am willing to put the effort into what it takes.
I would put the value more in the 3500 range for that car now. Numbers matching is great when the engine is a 302/327/350 small block. The 307 was a truck engine installed during the strike and is not desirable. I have an x-44 that had the 307 in it as well. The original motor trans is gone. I have a complete interior (mostly) and a 350/m21 waiting for the car. It needs alot of the same things as the one your looking at. If someone offered me 4k for this thing I would let her go. Remember that the resto is going to be costly; your at lease 15k from a finished car where you are now. I would be doing alot of work myself to keep the cost down and just enjoy the job. It is not a money making angle to restore a base car. Find an ss, z28 or big block car and pay more up front. It will recover the outlay for the restoration much more easily.
