what should the timing be set at

Default what should the timing be set at

Its been a long time and I know I need a chiltons but dont have it yet. What should my timing be set at? Its a 350 with out air and power steering and dic brakes.

I can't answer your question, and sorry for being a grammer ****, but your question is phrased ambiguously. A 350 without air and it has power steering and DB? Or......a 350 without air, without PS, and without DBs?

Perhaps it might help someone else answer

Sorry it doesnt have airbut does have power steering and power brakes.

I don't know if I'm right....but I think a 350 is 8 to 10....once you get it set there, you'll probably have to take it to the shop to have your advance timing checked.

What year 350? Good eye dbx however, it doesnt matter if they are there or not when setting the timing

Start at 7. Chiltons has a bunch of numbers for differing years and HP. The lowest setting is 5 and the highest is 9, I would go with 7 and adjust from there.

you should set it a full advance, if you are looking for performance, and if that's the case, start at 34 degrees and see how that goes
