Default What isit worth?

I found a nice looking Camaro in a garage/barn last summer. It has been sitting there for 20-25 plus years. I did not get a chance to give it a really good inspection, but from what I could tell (and remember) the paint looked fairly decent, all 4 tires were flat, and there was no motor or tranny. I did confirm with the girlfriend of the owner that it is a 1967 RS/SS, but other than that, she was not much help

thanks

Without more to go on... it could be worth from a few hundred to a few thousand or more. There are so many variables from how original it is, what options it had, clear title... all kinds of stuff. Not to mention the condition of the body, floorboards, trunk, frame rails and shock towers. Sucks that the Motor and Trans are gone, that would have greatly increased the value. It would be awesome if you could get a few pics and post them up. I would love to hear more about the car if you can find out more info. Keep us posted.

67 has a cowl tag that lists all the options that came with the car. Without the original motor and trans it will not bring the big money. The RS/SS part of the car is worth some money with out the numbers matching drive line. I can not imagine it being worth less then 4-5k. 18 months ago you could have gotten 7K just for the Vin & cowl tag with a title. You will need to get under the car to see how much rust there is.

To get a value you will need
All the info off the Cowl tag
Is the original 12 bolt rear still there (worth about 2K)
pics of the underneath
pics of the outter body.
If the current owner will allow it you should pull up some of the carpet to see the top side of the floor.
Bring all that info back here and we can help set a value.

Thanks guys! I know it is one of those site-unseen quotes I am asking for, and honestly we were tresspassing when I found the car (must have made a wrong turn on the 4-wheeler trail when we came across the abandoned farm house) so I didn't stick around to get too much detail, nor did I really know what it was that I was looking at. We are headed back that way this summer, so I will stop in and ask if I can take some pictures, and then post for thoughts & opinions

Thanks Again!!
