$10K is a GOOD price, regardless. ****** the girl and bring her home. Good luck.

Brakes are definitely high on the list as they haven't been touched in years. I don't know any thing about Fisher bodys, can someone enlighten me? I think the $10k price is because his sister (my wife) is interested. I'm sure he would list it for more if he decides to sell it out right. So what else should I be worried/concerned about? Thanks so much!

My experience with the fisher body. i had a 67 in my teen's and 20's, before the one I now have. Look for rust in the wheel well's, trunk, the center panel below the back window, and floor pan. Those are the places I would see runt on my first camaro. Simply look everywhere

The asking price is a big factor - what I see out there these days for twice the $$ is just pitiful - for $10K there is a lot of wiggle room to make improvements. The body is always the one that requires the highest priority and $$. IMO, I would ditch the idea of replacing the vinyl roof when it comes time for repaint it. They're not worth the effort and they always cause water/rust problems - plus that the style was outdated long before it was dropped as an option. You need to have a good body person look at the car carefully to see where the problems are - look especially around the windshield/dash areas where they meet up. The cowl area is very susceptible to water and poor drainage. So are the lower body panel areas and sills. Check the trunk for rust and pin holes - very common.
