Vintage Air
Hello there
A ‘67RS is coming my way. One of the first things I want to do is a Vintage Air unit. The center vent is not really that attractive. I’d like to buy a stock center vent online (eBay or something) but would first like to know if it would fit somehow or if some has had experience in this.
Thanks,
Kevin

The latest generation kit leaves me wondering
what the designer was thinking when they designed it
first of all
removing the fender is a major pain
then the new firewall blank off plate
will not fit without buggering up the old heater
unit opening
its also cheesy
plastic parts are low quality
they also changed the hoses to go inside the fender
another major pain if you need to change a hose in the future
hoses also go into the right side lower outside
air vent
this is the only place to mount speakers in the front
so once again a poor design idea
kit was a major hassle
hoses are not pre krimped
so you have to buy a AC hoses crimping tool
vents that come with kit are crap junk
glove box room in compromised
leg room compromised
i would not use another vintage air product
