Vapor locking

Vapor locking??
Hey, so I got my 1969 camaro over the weekend and it starts up just fine after it’s sat for a couple of hours but when ive ran it for a while it has lots of trouble starting back up. I looked at it last night and the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carburetor it’s touching the radiator hose and the alternator. My best idea is to just reroute the hose over the alternator. How does this sound? Also if I were to reroute should I get some 90 degree hose fittings ?

I would confirm you have vapor lock first....your timing could be to far advanced for hot starts so check your timing
I would think just the fuel line touching the radiator hose and or alternator would not boil the fuel. If you can't bend it away from those 2 things you can put that heat wrap stuff o although generally that is used on hard fuel lines that lay on intake manifold against the heads or run near the exhaust manifold

What kind of carburetor do you have, and where does each line go to that's coming from the t-fitting? Your carb could be getting too hot, and peculating the gas out of the bowl. Also make sure you have the right kind of gas cap. The factory cap was vented IN only. Some aftermarket caps vent in and out, which would make your gas tank/fuel system not hold pressure after shut down, and allow the gas to run back into the tank.
