Default Upper Ball Joint

Need a quick opinion... I just removed all the control arms and removed all the suspension from the subframe on my 68. I inspected the upper ball joints on both sides and they seem to be in good condition. The rubber seals are good and the ball joint is firm and not loose. I would like to keep the original look of the rivets and not have to bolt on a new joint. See pic.. would like opinion.

When I replaced my 69 suspension I replaced everything. Rivets vs nuts and bolts I did not care. I would hate to tear everything apart and put it back together with a bad part

yeah... I should. It's easy to replace if I need to, but I should also think about it failing on the road and causing who knows what additional damage while I'm driving. I'll keep the original.

Has anyone replaced a new ball joint with rivets? Does it even impact the 'all original' look at car shows if using bolts?

I re-read my post... The comment 'I'll keep the original", I was just pertaining to keeping just the part for posterity.
