I am in the process of restoring a 67 RS and I purchased a softlseal weatherstriping kit. I installed the trunk weatherstrip and it was a nighmare. Ater installing the deck lid would not close, it seems like it is to large. I found the old one and it is smaller, I know it has been compressed. I have talked to other people that have had the same problem. If anyone out there has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Walter

a nightmare?
that is probably the easiest weatherstrip to install, and you bought it from probably the best manufacurer out there. I also find it odd that you have talked to multiple people with the same problem as you?
did you put it in upside down?
are you sure you ordered it for the right car? but even if you ordered a wrong one, it should have been easy to install
