Default Transmission conversion

What's up guys, I am the proud new owner of a 69 Camaro. Looking for some advice. I'm replacing my 350 trans with a Muncie m20. Do I need the 4 speed crossmember? Is there also a mount that I need? Are the BB 4 speed cross members the same as SB? I'm beginning a complete drive train swap, 383, 465 hp, 9" rear and Muncie, I'm in pretty deep, feeling a tad overwhelmed, as this is my first project I've ever done, any help would be appreciated.

Just curious as to why the Muncie and not a 700R4 for example?? A preference? What was the original motor? Apparently not a 350? Why the reference to a big block? What are you taking out of the car?

I'm removing a 307, a 383 is going in its place. I like the old school feel of the Muncie, no other good reason. I was referencing the BB because it seemed to be the only manual crossmember out there for sale. I've since found out that my crossmember will work with the 4 speed. I'm learning more each day.
