The new side bars look really good. I had to build another landing plate, but the left side is not a match to the right - in the car, I mean. I used identical parts on each side, and the measurements were different. Both sides came out looking very good, and very symetrical.

Oh, yes, the steering wheel comes out, an anti-theft device. I had forgotten it and was working around the wheel when I spotted the key -

The blue wheel is the adjustable brake porportioner, a much needed item way back when. I may be able to take it out after my brake upgrade late this year. In the meantime, it is there, and in the way.

My new seats! It will be very nice to have a new interior done by a pro.... I did all this work myself at home over twenty years ago.

You ever try one of the notchers from Harbor Freight? They use common hole saws from Lowes or HD and they work real good

That's where I got the notcher. It didn't get the hole exactly in the center, but close enough to fix it. They also sold the correct hole saws to fit the notcher. There is a limited range of degrees off 90* that it is capable of, and if I had messed up my measurements, I couldn't "sneak up on it" by taking another small bit off; I had to get it right the first time or do the rest by hand. It did work well for my application, but it would not have done well for the crossbar.

I got the gussets in this morning, and now this project is "finished". The next step will be the interior installation.

The bottom of the main hoop and the lower hoop brace.

The crossbar to lower hoop brace. There was no logical place to put a gusset on to the main hoop.

Passenger side door bar to rocker plate.

Driver side.
