Default Stock vs tube a arms

I have a 69 base Camaro enroute to me now that has a restomod started on it. The front end was rebuilt with tube a arms but no shocks, springs, or sway bar comes with it. Wouldni be better offnto go back with the stock suspension? this will become a daily drive with a standard sb crate engine. I have no intentions of building a hot rod, mjust a nice reliable cruiser.

Thanks folks.

I would probably leave the tube arms as they would give you more caster for better high stability.
OE spec is +1/2° for caster to 2° to 5° caster.
Caster is what keeps the front wheels pointed straight ahead.
I used to own five 90-92 Nissan 300ZX's, and their caster is 9°.
Think about it, traveling down the road at 150 MPH, you WANT the vehicle to point ahead.

I agree. You're better off keeping what you already have and just finishing it: shocks, springs, swaybar.

Use what it's coming with, you won't be disappointed with it's handling. Why buy stock when you can have better than stock? Saves you that much more money on top of that. Also go for the larger sway bar, you have to buy one anyway, might as well spend the few extra dollars for better handling.

I agree, I went with stock a arms but upgraded the sway bar and springs, if its not 100% orginal then why not upgrade something importent like steering. Its like saying I dont want to upgrade the brakes because its not orginal, safety is more important then orginal 60's tech.
