Default Steering Box Clearance w/ Long Tube Headers

I'm currently in the middle of a swap (68 LS1 5.7, Holley EFI, 700R4, Merch Performance complete front assembly kit ). I'm wanting to go long tube headers from Stainless Works. Did you go with long tube or short tube on your build? I'm worried about the steering box clearance. Thanks for any and all insight!!

I don't have any experience with a 1st generation Camaro, but I've helped with a LS3 swap in a 1964 Chevelle. Holley Hooker offer headers and other swap parts that have been fitted to the particular body style of the car you're working on. The Chevelle parts we've used have been a perfect fit, so I would think the Camaro parts would be the same. Here's a link to the exhaust system web page.
If you have specific questions, call their help line. They were very knowledgeable about what will work with what.

Thanks peterpar! I spoke with Stainless last week and their longtube headers have no clearance issues (according to them). Guess we'll see....

ARH is top shelf American made stainless steel and the fit like they should, that's what I have in my car and they have LS conversion headers for your '68.
