Speedometer question
The folks have a '69 Camaro and the speedometer has stopped working. Today we checked to make sure the cable was attached at the transmission and that the cable was spinning, which all checked out just fine. And, the odometer was still working just fine, too. Are there any companies that can rebuild a speedometer, or they just going to have to fork over $210 plus S and H for a reproduction?
Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated. My parents have both recently retired and are trying to live on a very budgeted income, so any money-saving options would be great. They still have to put new tires on it, get a new radiator, and tidy up a few other things before it gets inspected and back on the road.

I noticed that your in MO. I'm also from MO, and had my speedometer rebuilt in Independence earlier this summer, at a place called Metro Speedometer & Electric if you wanna give them a call, their number is 816-478-0116. They charged $125. Hope this helps you out.
