Speedo doesn't work
Hello,
I own a relatively low-mileage 1967 Camaro (64,00 miles). The odometer works fine but the speedometer does not. I've replaced the cable, so that's not the problem. I'm wondering if there is a way to fix the speedo WITHOUT losing the low-mileage number? Is there something that can be fixed/ replaced in the back of the gauge without disturbing the mileage? Thanks in advance!

If it's not somehow documented I'd find it hard to believe a '67 has only 64K original miles and the speedo quit working.
It may have spun over 100K and back to zero once or twice in 55+ years but
there are shops that do speedo repair and I think you may be able to order a new one with the same mileage.
Good luck to you.

The speedo works using tiny rotating magnets and the speedo shaft has to move freely
Yours if sitting forever hence the low miles, it may just be sticky or frozen
Pull the cluster or otherwise get to the speedo and try freeing up the shaft
Then send it to a place like Speedo Tach for repair if you cannot get it working
