Default Restoring 68 Camaro (Paint code)

I am doing a restoration on a 1968 Camaro 327 V8 that was originally white. One owner car since new, well now 2 owners. I want to get opinions on what to change the color to. Should I have it done in 3 stage pearl white with black stripes or keep it the original color code or even change the color all together. I am leaning toward pearl white. Will that devalue it?

if the car is still ALL original, I would keep the stock paint color
this is just my opinion

For me, if it was a basic build, then why not paint it whatever color I want, but if it were a Z, SS, RS, then I'd tend to paint it the factory color.

When I looked for a car to back half, I lucked out and was given a 69 plain jane Camaro to cut up. If it were something other than that, no way would I have cut it up.

Your the boss of your car, do with it what you'd like.

JMT's:

If Camaro is all original, VIN's of eng, trans match to body, AND you have the POP card (Proof Of Purchase), suggest keeping it original.
Naturally, specific models listed above with POP will bring more value than a base model.

But as suggested, your Camaro, your choice.
She will be a 'Head turner' regardless because of being the correct year.
