Default Rear disc brakes?

I'm new to the forum. I recently acquired a '68 SS with front disc brakes and was considering upgrading the rear drums to disc. I was hoping to get feedback from any one thats made the upgrade and if it's an improvment and to what degree, Also, what kit does the best job as I've seen 3-4 dirrerent kits. I'm also considering changing out the "14x6 rims to "15x7 - are there any problems going with the 15's? What tire sizes would you recommend 225 or 235? Is ther enough clearance for these?

Thanks for your feedback

Randy

I went to 4 way disk from Matt's classic bowties. The kit is made from somewhere else, I dont remember anymore. As far as improvments, I really cant tell since I went from 4 manual drums to power disk. I do know that the front is what stops the car for the most part. There are still a lot of new cars that still have rear drums.
