Those aren't camel hump humps. And camel hump heads have casting #s 186, 291, 461, 462, and 492 (last 3 digits). Your casting number tells what they are as I stated earlier.

Ok, so i need to pull the heads to know for sure what the casting number is right? If they are not camel heads, any ideas what they are? Are they really just stock heads? Thanks again everyone. I feel stupid, but i would really like to know what it is im driving around. Also so i stop telling everyone that i have something that i really dont and looking like an a$$!

Where's the confusion? According to the casting # you gave, which is under the valve covers (don't need to remove head), as well as the listing in post #11 of which castings are camel humps, those you have aren't camel hump heads. They're plain-jane heads.

3917293: 1968-69 327, 1.72 intake, 1.5 exhaust, 75cc chamber. Still, plain ol' heads.
What was that 3986388 number from then, did you get a written list from the previous owner?

I got that 3986388 number from a sheet that looked like it matched up with the markings on my heads. Cuzz i was way wrong. So, i have plain ol' heads. ... Well, time to get some new ones then. What you do you think would be a good, but reasonable price choice? Thanks!

The casting numbers are not always indicative of what valves you have in the heads after the engine has been rebuilt. Most likely they are the 1.72/1.50 valves, and the chamber/runner size is correct, but often during a rebuild the valve size gets rerworked.
I know a lot of machine shops that pretty commonly swap 2.02" or 1.94" valves into the low perf. heads when they rebuild them, just to get more power, and make them easier to resell. Once you get the heads off you cam measure the valves to actually see what's been done, and decide which way to go with either new "camel hump" heads, or aftermarket aluninum heads. I personally would just go the aftermarket Edelbrock aluminum and be miles ahead HP wise. They seem to be the best quality for a fairly reasonable price.
