The 4 in the VIN tells it is a v8 car, the 3 means it's a coupe. That's all the VIN will tell you though.
Your engine block casting was used for the 302, 327, and 350. The suffix code in front of the passenger side head will crack it down further from there.
Trim tag: 06A is the build date. 06: June, A: 1st week of the month.
756-H is black standard interior with a bench seat.
N-N is Madeira Maroon upper & lower body color (no vinyl top).
2H: (2 is a constant) H is heater delete (hey, you're in Californi)
3SK: (3 is a constant again) S: RPO Z23 interior decor. K: RPO Z21 style trim group.
This site has a lof of helpful info: Camaro Decoding help on Chevy-Camaro.com
Come back with the suffix code off the block if you still can't decipher it.

Hi Wantvegas,

Camel back heads have rounded humps and are not squared off like the ones in the picture you posted. I was at least hoping that you had a set of smog heads w/ open chamber 194's, but it doesn't look like that's the case.

After googleing your heads, this is what I found.

Small Block Chevy Cylinder Head Identification
1968-71 3986388 307 1.72 1.5
1972-76
3986388 350 1.72 1.5

This is what I found on your block.
Small Block Chevy Block Casting Numbers
3892657 327 64-67 Pass,Chevelle Std & Hi Perf sm journal
3892657 327 64-67 Truck sm journal
3892657 327 66-67 Corvette 300,350 HP sm journal 2 bolt main
3892657 302,327 67 Camaro & z28 sm journal 2 bolt main

The "MF" in the engine suffix code means it's a 67 327, 210 h.p., with a 2 barrel carb., attached to a powerglide trans, and A.I.R. (it's a Calif. car).
Camel hump heads were performance heads, back in the day. And those didn't come from the factory on the engine you have. They make better paper weights when you compare them to what you can buy in today's aftermarket.

well 2.02 camel humps are still a good set of heads if you have them (like me ) but for the money its better to buy a new set then find originals. i had to buy a whole motor to get the heads on my 68 now. also some of the 210 hp camaros did come with the camel humps. they were probably goof ups or the worker just grabbed the wrong heads

Heh, heh...He got camel humped if that's what he was told he has. His 3986388 casting heads are 1968-76, 307/350, 1.72" intake 1.50" exhaust. Paper weights for sure...or book ends!

Question

Hey,
Well i am going off of these 2 pictures and what people have told me looking at them. They do seem match with that number for the camel head markings. I have not physically removed them though to check the numbers on them. But what do you all think? Thanks!
