Does anyone have or able to take a picture of the push button door handle on the inside of the door where it meets the door latch? I'm having a hard time figuring out how they meet up. I put the handle and latch on and it seems the push button end wants to slide on the latch lever causing the push button end not to work, its like there should be a guide of some type on the push button rod to make it stay straight. all parts are new and its been 9 months sense I had it apart and I have forgot how to old one went. Thanks

 

I had the same problem with all new door parts, including door skins. I ended up taking a bolt about 1+" long, cutting off the hex head, and drilling a hole lengthwise 3/4 the way through bolt. Made the hole the same diameter of the push pin. Slip the bolt over the pin and it effectively extended and stiffened the pin. You'll need to experiment how much to extend the push pin. I had to do this to both doors and it did the trick. The doors open like a new car. Hope this helps.
