Default Parts Supplier?

Quick question for you all.... ive been using National Parts Depot for ordering parts. Not too bad with pricing but their website is a PITA.

What do you all use?

I use NPD also, mainly cause i havent heard too much negative about them, thier fairly close , 1 day shipping, and I personally have not had any issues with thier service, and or parts. But I also use Classic Industries, they are in compition with NPD, and you can use one aginst the other, if you have an account with both. I live in Ohio, Classic is located in California, and I have received free truck shipping, price match..etc. if I were you I check Classic out. They have better catalogs, and prices are mainly the same. But thier are several out there, to me these two are the best out there.

I guess it depends on which parts you are looking for. A lot of mechanical parts can be purchased cheaper at Rockauto.com, and a good source for restoration parts is ss396.com. (ss396 is Ground Up Restoration in CT.)

Thanks JNO! rockauto.com looks to be a better deal with a lot of the parts I am looking for.

No problem. I have done a LOT of business with them and they have always come through. You may want to google "Rockauto discount code" to get this months 5% off code. (you enter it into the "how did you hear about us" section.

FYI: They also have Sherman sheet metal (Made in USA) for discount prices.

i used npd for most of my camaro but i always orderd from the paper catalog and never had a problem and always had great service. i ordered some trim once and ups bent it and they sent another set free of charge. they didnt want the bent stuff back so i used it for practice on polishing and straighting pot metal. also used gold eagle classics as well.
