I wanted to know if all 1967 camaro ss 350 had a stripe around the front of the hood. My car was repainted in 1977, which the paint looks good althoughit has been sitting in a garage since 1990. I was looking to get it painted in the future and wanted to know if it originally had the strip or not, how can you tell?

 

Yes. The SS350 in 67 had either a white or black stripe standard. It was on the front header panel and body side. It could also be ordered (at extra cost) for the other models as well. If you have the 'protect-o-plate' or the buld sheet you could tell what color it was for sure. Otherwise, if its origional paint, when you go to have it repainted maybe the painter could figure it out with some sand paper.
