i mean you have to admit there a hell of a lot more 69s than 67s or 68s. i would love to have a 69 camaro, in my perfect world it would be a Z/28 RS with a JL8 and a cross ram. but i highly doubt that will ever happen. i have thought though of putting a cross ram on my 68 later on when i have alot more $$$.

Well I made contact with the owner and he is the second owner and has had the car for 27 years. It originally had a 350 but now has a 327 from a late 60s corvet. Same with trans. Minor dents and only rust that was found is onder the rear floor boards from the bottom. The trim tag says st 6912467. NOR 142096. TR 727. 51A. 09E. X11. So from this info what do you think something like this would go for. Also he has all trim, chrome, and a new top.

well i know the NOR is for the norwood plant where it was built, the tr 727 is standard white interior, 51A was dusk blue with white convet top, 09E is 5th week of september. so when it was built. and the x11 is style trim group, but it could indicate a ss 350 car. the fact it had a factory 350 (if the owner is telling the truth) strongly says that this car is a factory ss car.

Umm...that might be too much. Why don't you tell me where the car is, and I'll go check it out for you to make sure.

Truly, if the car is solid, not a rust bucket, you better grab it!!!

Just know what you're getting into with either car. If the floors are rotted away, that's one thing. If the rear frame or rocker panels are gone, you're looking at a bit of structural repair and it needs to be fixed right. You could wind up spending a pretty penny to get the car solid and safe again, especially if you don't have the means to do your own work. On the other hand, if the frame, rockers, floors, etc. are all good, that Camaro is a steal. Still, low-ball him anyway.
