Default Newbie with a few questions

Hey guys me and my dad have started a Camaro project and have a few questions. We bought a real rust bucket and have pretty much discarded everything that came with the car the PO had done some real hacking on the car. We didnt really car about any of this because we knew we would tear it down and build it how we wanted it. The car is having all new sheetmetal put on now (pretty much every piece except for firewall and dash) and while it is away we are gathering parts, so my question is what are some donor cars that we can get a 12bolt or strong 10bolt out of that will bolt up. We want discs all the way around so something that may have a 12bolt with discs that we could make work would be perfect or is there a late model car that we can pull the complete disc brake system out of and use (or is it better to buy aftermarket). any other ideas suggestions would be great. Oh by the way we are probably going with a 383 stroker with vortec heads since we have all the parts to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

'68-'72 Novas share the same rear axle as the first gen Camaro but you won't find any with disc brakes unless they were converted.
Some Camaros had rear discs but they were pretty rare.
It's not hard to convert them, lots of parts available to do so.
Anyway a 12 bolt from a Nova SS or Camaro is what you want or you can spend some big bucks and go aftermarket with something like a Currie 9" Ford built for gen 1 Camaros.
