It would be a good idea,after you get about 500-1000 miles on the gears
to open up the case ,drain the oil and re torque the ring gear bolts, main caps
and just make sure nothing looks weird in there. Back when I was racing stock
eliminator in the mid 70's , we never had time to do that kind of stuff,but for
a street car its a good idea. Glad you had positive results. ed

Did you recheck your pinion gear depth using gear checking paint? The depth is changed by adding or removing the shims under the inner pressed on bearing.
Simply crushing the sleeve till you get the proper rotating torque doesn't automatically give you the right depth setting.
